What You’ll Do

  • Facilitate community home-based care initiatives to enhance health and support services.
  • Develop and implement capacity-building programs for social workers and relevant stakeholders.
  • Lead HIV/AIDS awareness and support programs within the community.
  • Coordinate social relief efforts for individuals and families in distress.
  • Conduct skills development workshops to enhance the capabilities of social workers.
  • Oversee the management and evaluation of social work programs and initiatives.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor of Social Work recognized by SAQA.
  • Current registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP).
  • A minimum of seven years of post-registration experience in social work.
  • Valid motor vehicle driver’s license (exceptions apply for persons with disabilities).
  • Proficiency in computer applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, report writing, management, and evaluation skills.
  • Knowledge of social work service delivery models and NPO governance.
