About the Role

What You’ll Do
- Provide administrative support to social workers, facilitating their work with clients.
- Conduct awareness campaigns on critical issues such as child abuse, substance abuse, and elder abuse.
- Monitor and evaluate Home-Based Community Care Centres to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Maintain a streamlined information flow between social workers and clients to enhance service effectiveness.
- Engage in community involvement and support initiatives aimed at improving social welfare.
What You’ll Need
- A minimum of Grade 10 and completion of a learnership to register with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP) as an Auxiliary Social Worker.
- Basic computer literacy skills are essential.
- A valid South African driver’s license is advantageous.
- Relevant experience in social auxiliary work after registration with the SACSSP will be considered.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, along with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
