What You’ll Do

  • Manage and oversee General Ledger transactions and provide financial accounting services.
  • Conduct reconciliations for employee benefits and general ledger accounts.
  • Process journal entries and ensure corrections are made promptly.
  • Supervise the management of unpaid and returned payments from various sources.
  • Review and confirm payments related to maintenance orders, court orders, and suppliers.
  • Ensure accurate reporting and statistics of benefit payments to management.
  • Authorize and oversee payment transactions using Safety Web.
  • Train, develop, and manage the performance of subordinates.
  • Handle general customer inquiries and ensure adherence to payment procedures.
  • Assist in preparing information for audits and managing risk effectively.

What You’ll Need

  • A relevant 3-year National Diploma/Degree in Financial Accounting or equivalent (minimum 360 credits).
  • At least 3 years of experience in a Finance environment, with 2 years in a supervisory role, or a total of 5 years in Finance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with GEP Finance and Management Act.
  • Strong knowledge of Financial Accounting principles and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
  • A keen eye for detail, integrity, and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
