What You’ll Do

  • Monitor the allocation and reconciliation of payments to ensure accuracy.
  • Validate and verify invoices and receipts for financial accountability.
  • Administer budget allocation schedules and manage funds received from client departments.
  • Ensure effective administration and reporting on accounts receivable and payable.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly revenue reports, including financial statements.
  • Oversee the supervision of staff, ensuring performance management and development.
  • Liaise with legal advisors and tracing agents regarding outstanding debts.
  • Maintain updated supplier information and ensure compliance with internal controls.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of a three-year tertiary qualification (NQF Level 06) in Management Accounting, Financial Management, or a related field.
  • At least three years of relevant experience in financial accounting or a similar role.
  • Knowledge of PFMA, treasury regulations, and transversal systems (PMIS, WCS, BAS, SAGE).
  • Proficiency in computer skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and capacity to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
