What You’ll Do

  • Analyze statistical data, interpret findings, and prepare detailed research reports.
  • Oversee accurate data collection, storage, and analysis.
  • Manage data capturing processes and ensure data integrity.
  • Maintain rigorous methodological standards in all research activities.
  • Develop and implement research dissemination plans to share outcomes.
  • Leverage digital tools and technologies to enhance research processes.
  • Provide advisory services and manage the research repository.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislative prescripts and regulations.
  • Coach and mentor team members on best practices in research and compliance.

What You’ll Need

  • An undergraduate qualification in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public Management, or Public Administration at NQF level 7 recognized by SAQA.
  • A postgraduate degree is advantageous.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a Junior Management or Assistant Director level within a research environment.
  • Strong knowledge of departmental legislations and prescripts.
  • Familiarity with public service frameworks and research methodologies.
  • Excellent project management skills and experience with online systems.
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
