What You’ll Do

  • Render comprehensive assessment and examination administration services to clients.
  • Execute all assessment and examination processes within prescribed timelines.
  • Verify and approve processed applications and handle investigations regarding registration and certifications.
  • Administer the certification process, including processing and publishing results and managing queries.
  • Maintain a database of certificates and oversee the issuance of results in compliance with policy.
  • Provide administrative support for assessment and promotion appeals and training workshops.
  • Develop and maintain efficient systems and processes to enhance the effectiveness of the Assessment and Examinations unit.
  • Prepare documentation and compile reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage an effective filing system and coordinate assessment and examination activities.

What You’ll Need

  • A National Senior Certificate or equivalent and a 3-year relevant post-school qualification.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ relevant clerical or administrative experience.
  • A valid driver’s license (excluding code A/A1).
  • Knowledge of provincial and national education strategies and relevant legislation.
  • Proficient in relevant software packages and a sound application of computer programs.
  • Strong skills in document drafting, organizing, planning, and time management.
  • Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, with a client service orientation.
