What You’ll Do
- Plan and prioritize the printing of examination papers according to project timelines and requirements.
- Verify received question paper files and maintain accurate records.
- Update management plans to inform the printing, packing, and distribution processes.
- Administer the Digipath process for routing print jobs effectively.
- Conduct quality checks on printed materials to ensure they meet client specifications.
- Oversee the sealing process for examination papers, ensuring quality control.
- Manage the storeroom, conducting regular stocktakes and ensuring adequate supplies.
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance for printing equipment and manage vendor relationships.
- Ensure security measures are upheld in the printing room and maintain the electronic security system.
- Supervise print operators, manage staff performance, and oversee training and development initiatives.
What You’ll Need
- An appropriate degree/diploma with 3 years’ relevant experience in an examination or educational environment, or a National Senior Certificate with 6 years’ relevant experience.
- A valid driver’s license (excluding code A/A1).
- Knowledge of project planning and relevant educational legislation and regulations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in at least two official languages of the province.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
- Excellent planning, organizing, and people management skills.
