What You’ll Do

  • Administer the Integrated Quality Management System (IQMS) and Performance Management and Development Systems (PMDS) processes.
  • Monitor and implement policy frameworks related to performance management.
  • Coordinate the submission of performance agreements and conduct mid-term and annual reviews.
  • Ensure quality assurance of PMDS documents before authorisation on the PERSAL system.
  • Arrange and support assessment committee meetings, including minute-taking and drafting communications.
  • Manage the development and implementation of Work Plans and Personal Development Plans (PDPs) for staff.
  • Handle grievances and disputes related to performance management.
  • Facilitate and coordinate training workshops related to performance management.
  • Oversee the implementation of performance incentives and ensure accurate service records.
  • Compile databases and provide recommendations for employee training needs.

What You’ll Need

  • NQF Level 6 qualification in Human Resources Management, Public Management, or Human Resource Development.
  • Three to five years of relevant experience, including at least three years in a supervisory role.
  • Valid driver’s license (Code 8) and PERSAL certificate.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and demonstrated computer literacy.
  • Strong understanding of the legislative framework governing the Public Service.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to varying situations.
  • Leadership skills with a focus on team management and employee development.
