What You’ll Do

  • Manage leave, housing, medical aid, and other employee benefits.
  • Oversee the recruitment and selection processes in line with departmental guidelines.
  • Coordinate the design and implementation of the college’s organizational structure.
  • Facilitate the development and evaluation of job descriptions.
  • Conduct work-study and business process re-engineering initiatives.
  • Prepare and monitor the college HR plan, ensuring alignment with regional and national objectives.
  • Supervise the Human Resource Development services and Employee Health and Wellness programs.
  • Manage human, financial, and other resources effectively within the unit.

What You’ll Need

  • Matric or NCV Level 4 with a recognized M+3 years Degree or National Diploma in Human Resource Management or a relevant qualification.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in Human Resources, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR regulatory frameworks and public service legislation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and management skills.
  • Understanding of higher education sector dynamics and TVET/CET administration.
