What You’ll Do

  • Monitor and oversee the recruitment and selection processes for various positions.
  • Facilitate the processing and approval of service benefits for employees.
  • Manage and supervise the termination of service procedures at the provincial level.
  • Ensure implementation and adherence to HR policies across the division.
  • Supervise human, financial, and equipment resources effectively.

What You’ll Need

  • An undergraduate qualification in Human Resource Management or Public Management at NQF Level 6 as recognised by SAQA.
  • A valid driver’s license is an added advantage.
  • At least two years of functional experience in a Human Resource Management environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Public Service Act, Labour Relations Act, and Employment Equity Act.
  • Strong skills in negotiation, problem-solving, and communication, alongside proficiency in report writing and computer literacy.

Requirements

An undergraduate qualification in Human Resource Management/ Public Management at NQF Level 6 as recognised by SAQA.

Driver’s license will be an added advantage, Two (2) year’s functional experience in Human Resource Management environment.

Knowledge: Public Service Act (PSA), Public Service Regulations (PSR), Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Labour Relations Act (LRA), Employment Equity Act (EEA), Batho Pele Principles, PSCBC and CCMA Procedures.

Skills: Negotiation, People Management, 15 Problem Solving, Presentation, Planning and Organizing, Communication, Computer Literacy and Report Writing.

Job Duties

Monitor the Recruitment and Selection processes.

Facilitate the processing and approve service benefits, Provide and monitor termination of service at the province.

Monitor establishment and the implementation of HR policies.

Supervise resources (Human, Finance, Equipment/ Assets) in the Division.

Salary

R413 001 per annum, plus 37% in lieu of benefits
