About the Role
The Department of Employment and Labour is looking for a dedicated Senior Practitioner: HRD & Performance Management to join their team in Parktown, Gauteng. This pivotal role involves coordinating the implementation of Human Resource Development initiatives and Performance Management Systems across the province. By fostering effective training and development programs, this position plays a significant part in enhancing the capabilities of the workforce, ultimately benefiting the community and public service in South Africa.

What You’ll Do
- Coordinate the implementation of Human Resource Development initiatives in Gauteng.
- Oversee the execution of the Performance Management System across the province.
- Manage and facilitate internship and learnership programs to foster career development.
- Organize and facilitate orientation and induction programs for new employees.
- Manage resources efficiently, including human, financial, and equipment/assets within the division.
What You’ll Need
- An undergraduate degree in Human Resource Management, Development, Training and Development, Management of Training, Public Management, or Industrial and Organisational Psychology at NQF Level 6 as recognized by SAQA.
- A minimum of two years of functional experience in Human Resource Management Development, Training and Development, or Performance Management Services.
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Public Service Act, Public Finance Management Act, and Skills Development Act.
- Strong skills in communication (both verbal and written), project management, report writing, and problem-solving.
- A valid driver’s license will be considered an added advantage.

Requirements
An undergraduate qualification in Human Resource Management / Development / Training and Development / Management of training / Public Management / Industrial and Organisational Psychology at NQF Level 6 as recognised by SAQA.Driver’s license will be an added advantage, Two (2) year’s functional experience in Human Resource Management Development /Training and Development /Performance Management Services.

Job Duties
Coordinate the implementation Human Resource Development initiatives in the Province.Coordinate the implementation of Performance Management System in the Province.

Manage resources (Human, Finance, Equipment/ Assets) in the Division.
