What You’ll Do

  • Monitor and manage the conditions of service for educators and public service staff.
  • Oversee the capturing and processing of employee benefits including housing allowances, leaves, and pensions.
  • Approve or disapprove conditions of service transactions on the PERSAL system.
  • Compile monthly statistical and management reports related to employee services.
  • Maintain accurate records of staff terminations and update resignation transactions in the electronic database.

What You’ll Need

  • NQF level 6 qualification recognized by SAQA.
  • Relevant qualifications in Human Resource Management, Public Management, or Public Administration are advantageous.
  • Certificate or proof of introductory PERSAL knowledge.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resource Management or a related field.
  • Valid driver’s license (not required for people with disabilities).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the Public Service Regulatory Framework.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook.
