What You’ll Do

  • Implement and uphold efficient human resource administration practices.
  • Manage recruitment and selection processes for new staff members.
  • Coordinate HR provisioning, including appointments, transfers, and candidate vetting.
  • Provide guidance and support on human resource administration matters to staff.
  • Oversee the performance management system and address HR inquiries.
  • Assist in preparing reports related to human resource administration and statistics.
  • Support the Sub-district Manager in HR-related activities.

What You’ll Need

  • A Senior Certificate / Grade 12 or equivalent, plus at least three years of experience in a Human Resource unit.
  • A Diploma or Degree (NQF Level 6/7) in Human Resource Management, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Completion of at least three PERSAL courses is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of PERSAL and experience interpreting PERSAL reports.
  • Familiarity with the Public Service Act, Public Service regulations, and other employment legislation.
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly in MS Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • A valid driver’s license will be an added advantage.
