What You’ll Do

  • Draft and vet contracts to ensure compliance with legal standards.
  • Manage and handle litigation on behalf of the Fund, representing its interests effectively.
  • Oversee the processing of section 56 applications and section 91 objections.
  • Provide comprehensive legal opinions to inform the Fund’s operations and strategy.
  • Manage resources within the sub-directorate to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

What You’ll Need

  • An undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 6) in LLB, BPROC, BCOM Law, or BA Law, recognized by SAQA.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant post-qualification legal experience.
  • Admission as an Advocate or Attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
  • Strong knowledge of legislation such as the COIDA Act, Labour Law, and the Public Finance Management Act.
  • Skills in conflict management, negotiation, project management, and stakeholder relations.

Undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 6) as recognized by SAQA in LLB/BPROC/BCOM LAW/BA LAW.

8 years’ appropriate post qualification in legal experience.
