What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate and implement Labour Relations policies and procedures within the department.
  • Provide administrative support during collective bargaining processes.
  • Represent the department in the national chamber and other relevant forums.
  • Monitor the implementation of collective agreements to ensure compliance.
  • Conduct and support capacity-building initiatives related to Labour Relations.
  • Facilitate consultative sessions with various stakeholders to promote effective communication and understanding.

What You’ll Need

  • A qualification at NQF Level 6 in Labour Relations, as recognized by SAQA.
  • 1-2 years of experience in the labour relations field.
  • Strong knowledge of the Public Service Act and Regulations, Labour Relations Act, and other relevant directives.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and written communication.
  • Excellent negotiation, conflict management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and foster good interpersonal relations.

Requirements

A qualification at NQF Level 6, as recognised by SAQA, in Labour Relations PLUS 1-2 years’ experience in the labour relations field.

Knowledge and understanding of Public Service Act and Regulations.

Knowledge and understanding of the Labour Relation Act.

Knowledge and understanding of the DPSA Directives.

Knowledge and understanding of Labour Relations policies and Procedures.

Knowledge and understanding of PSCBC and PHSDSBC as well as processes and collective agreement.

Knowledge and understanding of RSA Constitution.

Knowledge and understanding of PHSDSBC Constitution and rules.

Knowledge and understanding of POPIA, PAJA and PAIA.

Job Duties

Coordinate and facilitate the implementation of Labour Relations policies and procedures.

Salary

R413 001 per annum
