What You’ll Do

  • Support the Manager in operational management and corporate governance of the laboratory.
  • Manage the Forensic Pathology Assistant Program effectively.
  • Ensure high-quality operational service delivery at the facility.
  • Assist in planning and executing major incident exercises.
  • Maintain compliance with regulations, policies, and standards related to forensic pathology.
  • Conduct forensic investigations and evisceration procedures.
  • Supervise and train junior staff in forensic practices and protocols.

What You’ll Need

  • A Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • Relevant forensic (medico-legal) experience as a Forensic Pathology Officer.
  • Experience in supporting managerial functions related to corporate governance.
  • A valid Code B/EB driver’s license.
  • Competence in forensic investigation, evisceration, and knowledge of regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills to manage consumables and procurement planning.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and maintain good interpersonal relationships.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office and relevant forensic systems.
