What You’ll Do

• Conduct continuous research on agricultural trends and economic patterns.
• Identify and analyze economic challenges in the agricultural sector.
• Develop and adapt economic models to reflect current situations and forecast potential scenarios.
• Compile comprehensive reports, position papers, and policy documents.
• Provide strategic advice to stakeholders on the implications of economic forecasts.
• Develop and evaluate business plans for agricultural initiatives.
• Establish and maintain networks with relevant institutions for collaboration.
• Perform administrative tasks related to economic analysis and reporting.

What You’ll Need

• Grade 12 and an appropriate Honours degree in Economics or Agricultural Economics.
• A minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience at an Assistant Director level.
• Advanced computer and statistical skills.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• A valid driver’s license (with exceptions for individuals with disabilities).
