What You’ll Do
- Provide administrative support to the Policy and Irregularities unit.
- Assist with the administration of examination processes related to policy and irregularities.
- Coordinate meetings for various committees involved in national examinations.
- Support the collation of reports on irregularities from Provincial Education Departments.
- Maintain and update a national database on examination irregularities.
- Prepare presentations and write submissions for the National Examinations Irregularities Committee.
- Draft letters and manage assessment concessions with Umalusi.
- Help draft budgets and track expenditure related to the unit’s activities.
- Process remuneration claims as required.
- Provide general office support, including filing and document management.
What You’ll Need
- A three-year relevant post-matric qualification (NQF level 6) or equivalent.
- At least two years of experience in administrative processes related to examinations.
- A strong understanding of public sector operations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure, managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong planning and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.
