What You’ll Do
- Provide comprehensive administration support for the LOGIS system and orders unit.
- Receive and process requests for goods and services, ensuring compliance with procurement policies.
- Place and verify orders for goods while controlling turnaround times and monitoring outstanding orders.
- Manage petty cash transactions and ensure proper record-keeping and reconciliation.
- Oversee the administration of cellular phones and manage related queries and contracts.
- Supervise and train team members to ensure efficient service delivery and compliance with departmental standards.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statistics for the department.
- Communicate effectively with users and suppliers regarding orders and service delivery.
What You’ll Need
- A minimum of a three-year tertiary qualification (NQF Level 06) in Supply Chain Management, Public Administration, or a related field.
- At least three years of relevant experience in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
- Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act and procurement policies.
- Proficiency in financial systems such as SAGE, LOGIS, and BAS.
- Strong planning, organizing, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on team collaboration.
- A valid driver’s license is essential.
