What You’ll Do

  • Provide effective administration support for the LOGIS system and orders unit.
  • Receive and process requests for goods and services, ensuring compliance.
  • Place and verify orders for goods, managing turnaround times.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding orders, informing users and suppliers as necessary.
  • Ensure procurement practices adhere to relevant policies and regulations.
  • Administer petty cash issuance and maintain accurate records.
  • Compile monthly reconciliation reports for suppliers.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial inputs.
  • Supervise staff, ensuring effective service delivery and compliance with HR policies.
  • Manage the administration of cellular phone orders and contracts.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of a three-year tertiary qualification (NQF Level 06) in Supply Chain Management, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
  • Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act and relevant financial systems (SAGE, LOGIS, BAS).
  • Strong skills in planning, report writing, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication.
  • A valid driver’s license and computer literacy are essential.
  • Personal attributes including analytical thinking, resourcefulness, and the ability to handle confidential information.
