What You’ll Do

  • Provide Unemployment Insurance services through direct interaction with customers.
  • Ensure quality assurance and follow-up on Unemployment Insurance applications.
  • Administer the Unemployment Insurance Claims and Processing Services.
  • Supervise resources, including human, financial, and equipment/assets, within your section.

What You’ll Need

  • An undergraduate qualification in Operations Management, Public Administration, Business Administration, or related fields at NQF Level 6, recognized by SAQA.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • A minimum of two years of functional experience in a Client Services environment, Claims Processing, or Insurance operations.
  • Knowledge of the Unemployment Insurance Act, Unemployment Insurance Contributions Act, and relevant departmental policies and procedures.
  • Skills in interpersonal communication, presentation, listening, problem-solving, planning, and computer literacy.
