What You’ll Do
- Prepare and manage tender documentation for advertising and compliance.
- Assist in compiling bid documents in line with standard requirements.
- Review the terms of reference and integrate compliance requirements.
- Distribute draft tender adverts for verification and submit for publication.
- Monitor the validity of closed tenders and provide administrative support throughout the bidding process.
- Attend bid specification committee meetings and ensure compliance with SCM prescripts.
- Render secretariat services, including arranging meetings and recording minutes.
- Validate tax clearance certificates and check company statuses with relevant authorities.
- Prepare evaluation reports and manage queries related to the tender administration phase.
What You’ll Need
- A minimum of a three-year tertiary qualification (NQF Level 06) in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing Management, Public Administration, or related fields.
- Relevant work experience in Procurement or Supply Chain Management.
- Knowledge of procurement legislation, including the Public Finance Management Act.
- Understanding of government procurement systems, especially in the built environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to handle confidential information.
- Advanced interpersonal, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Computer literacy and the ability to work under pressure within tight deadlines.
