What You’ll Do

• Manage and monitor access control to ensure the safety of the premises.
• Provide assistance to visitors, directing them to the appropriate service points.
• Ensure thorough checks of admission control registers for completeness.
• Conduct regular building and premises patrols to monitor security.
• Report and follow up on security breaches and incidents.
• Ensure all entrances are properly locked and that safety checks are performed regularly.
• Supervise security personnel, maintaining discipline and adherence to uniform standards.
• Facilitate procurement for security services and verify the accuracy of work orders and invoices.
• Maintain accurate records and reports of all incidents and security activities.
• Monitor the application of emergency procedures and assist in training staff on security protocols.

What You’ll Need

• National Senior Certificate/Grade 12.
• National Diploma NQF Level 6 in Security Management or equivalent.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a security management environment as a Security Officer Supervisor.
• Registration with PSIRA is essential.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proficiency in at least two official languages applicable in the Free State.
• Strong knowledge of access control and security regulations.
• Experience with CCTV surveillance and control room operations.
• Physical fitness and a willingness to work extended hours, including being available 24/7.
• Excellent report writing and computer skills.
