What You’ll Do
- Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Director.
- Manage the Director’s diary, including scheduling appointments and events.
- Handle incoming calls and direct them appropriately, ensuring efficient communication.
- Organize travel arrangements and manage event logistics for meetings and conferences.
- Prepare documents, record meeting minutes, and maintain filing systems.
- Process travel and subsistence claims, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Stay updated on relevant policies and procedures to provide informed support to the Director.
- Assist in the procurement of standard office supplies and manage document flow.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 certificate with typing as a subject or relevant qualification.
- Secretarial or Administrative certification is an advantage.
- Practical experience in secretarial or administrative support is beneficial.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and general office equipment.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliability.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining confidentiality.
- Knowledge of public sector legislation and procedures will be an asset.
