What You’ll Do
- Provide clerical support for asset management, including maintaining records and databases.
- Check and issue furniture, equipment, and accessories to various components and individuals.
- Identify and manage redundant and obsolete equipment for proper disposal.
- Assist in demand and acquisition processes by logging requisitions and capturing specifications.
- Process orders and manage bid documents, providing logistical support during bidding and contract conclusion.
- Receive and verify goods from suppliers, maintaining accurate registers for consumables.
What You’ll Need
- National Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification.
- Basic knowledge of supply chain duties and practices, including data capturing and computer operation.
- Understanding of the legislative framework governing public service.
- Familiarity with supply chain management work procedures.
- Strong computer skills, with good planning and organizational abilities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
