What You’ll Do

  • Conduct research and development in agricultural sciences.
  • Perform technical scientific analyses and regulatory functions.
  • Develop and implement methodologies, policies, and procedures to enhance agricultural practices.
  • Manage resources effectively within the division to ensure optimal operations.
  • Promote human capital development through mentorship and training initiatives.

What You’ll Need

  • An NQF Level 06 Diploma in Agricultural Sciences.
  • Compulsory registration with SACNASP as a Certificated Natural Scientist in Agricultural Sciences.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification experience in an agricultural scientific environment.
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Standards, laboratory management, and microbiology.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with scientific methodologies and research.
