What You’ll Do

  • Conduct research and development focused on agricultural biochemistry
  • Perform agricultural scientific analyses and regulatory functions
  • Develop and implement methodologies, policies, systems, and procedures

  • Carry out various administrative functions related to research activities

What You’ll Need

  • A four-year Bachelor’s degree (NQF level 08) in Biochemistry or Chemistry, along with an Honours degree
  • Compulsory registration with SACNASP as a Professional Natural Scientist in Agriculture or Chemical Science
  • A valid driver’s license
  • A minimum of 3 years’ relevant post-qualification experience
  • Knowledge of laboratory management, biochemistry, and agricultural research methodologies
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in scientific writing and communication
