What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement methodologies, policies, systems, and procedures related to nutrition and agricultural practices.
- Provide technical support and advice to farmers and agricultural stakeholders.
- Conduct technical scientific analyses and regulatory functions.
- Engage in research and development to improve agricultural productivity and sustainability.
- Participate in human capital development through mentoring and training initiatives.
What You’ll Need
- An appropriate 3-year National Diploma in Animal Production or an equivalent qualification.
- Compulsory registration with SACNASP as a Certificated Natural Scientist in the relevant field.
- A minimum of 3 years of post-qualification technical scientific experience.
- A valid driving licence.
- Knowledge of wool sheep and beef cattle production systems, feedlot management, and planted pastures.
- Proficiency in scientific methodologies, data analysis, and technical report writing.
- Strong communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
