What You’ll Do
- Assemble road signs using various materials and ensure they adhere to design specifications.
- Bind panels and layout pances accurately to match the required designs.
- Cut and bind plates, boards, and channels for mounting purposes.
- Perform quality control checks to maintain high standards of production.
- Pack road signs according to specific orders and prepare them for transportation.
- Conduct administrative tasks related to daily operations and material requests.
- Maintain optimal stock levels by managing material requests effectively.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 10 certificate or an equivalent qualification.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Practical training in the assembly and manufacturing of road signage.
- Knowledge of tools and machinery used in the road sign environment.
- Familiarity with the SADC road sign manual and production layouts.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interpret and execute plans and instructions.
