What You’ll Do

• Provide psycho-education and conduct psychological interventions to enhance wellbeing.
• Perform psychological screenings and assessments for mental health referrals.
• Design, implement, and monitor developmental programmes for various community levels.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams to deliver effective counselling.
• Write reports and provide feedback to clients on interventions and progress.
• Train and promote primary psychosocial wellbeing initiatives within the community.
• Refer clients to appropriate professionals and resources as needed.

What You’ll Need

• Honours Degree in Psychology or a 4-year Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
• Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Registered Counsellor.
• For Grade 2: Minimum of 8 years of experience after registration with HPCSA.
• For Grade 3: Minimum of 16 years of experience after registration with HPCSA.
• A valid driver’s license is essential.
