About the Role

What You’ll Do
- Provide psycho-education and conduct psychological interventions to enhance wellbeing.
- Perform psychological screenings and assessments for mental health referrals.
- Design, implement, and monitor developmental programmes for various community levels.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams to deliver effective counselling.
- Write reports and provide feedback to clients on interventions and progress.
- Train and promote primary psychosocial wellbeing initiatives within the community.
- Refer clients to appropriate professionals and resources as needed.
What You’ll Need
- Honours Degree in Psychology or a 4-year Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
- Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Registered Counsellor.
- For Grade 2: Minimum of 8 years of experience after registration with HPCSA.
- For Grade 3: Minimum of 16 years of experience after registration with HPCSA.
- A valid driver’s license is essential.
