What You’ll Do

• Provide first-line community-based psychological support and psycho-education.
• Conduct psychological screenings and assessments for individuals and groups.
• Design, implement, and monitor developmental programs tailored to community needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams to provide holistic counselling.
• Report writing and feedback to clients on interventions provided.
• Promote primary psychosocial well-being through training and awareness initiatives.
• Refer clients to appropriate professionals and resources as needed.

What You’ll Need

• An Honours Degree in Psychology or a four-year Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.
• Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Registered Counsellor.
• No experience required for Grade 1; however, 8 years of experience is needed for Grade 2 and 16 years for Grade 3.
• A valid driver’s license is essential.
