What You’ll Do

• Provide psycho-education and psychological interventions to individuals, families, and groups.
• Conduct psychological screenings and basic assessments for mental health preliminary screening.
• Design, implement, and monitor developmental programmes suitable for various system levels.
• Offer counselling services in collaboration with interdisciplinary support teams.
• Prepare report writing and provide feedback to clients regarding their interventions.
• Promote primary psychosocial wellbeing through training and awareness initiatives.
• Refer clients to appropriate professionals or resources as needed.

What You’ll Need

• An Honours Degree in Psychology or a four-year Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.
• Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Registered Counsellor.
• For Grade 1: No experience required after registration with HPCSA.
• For Grade 2: A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience after registration.
• For Grade 3: A minimum of 16 years of relevant experience after registration.
• A valid driver’s license.
