What You’ll Do

• Provide psycho-educational support and counselling to individuals and groups.
• Conduct psychological screenings and assessments for mental health.
• Design, implement, and monitor developmental programs tailored to community needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance support services.
• Prepare reports and provide feedback to clients regarding their interventions.
• Promote primary psychosocial well-being through training and community engagement.
• Refer clients to appropriate professionals and resources as needed.

What You’ll Need

• An Honours Degree in Psychology or a 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, allowing for registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Registered Counsellor.
• Current registration with the HPCSA as a Registered Counsellor.
• For Grade 2: A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience post-registration.
• For Grade 3: A minimum of 16 years of relevant experience post-registration.
• A valid driver’s license.
