What You’ll Do
- Provide strategic management and advice on families and children programs, special programs, and social crime prevention initiatives.
- Support the implementation of community development programs in collaboration with service delivery partners.
- Manage operational business planning and stakeholder engagement processes.
- Oversee financial management, including budget preparation and adherence to procurement policies.
- Foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the Directorate, ensuring compliance with legislation and best practices.
- Lead and develop a motivated team, promoting sound labor relations and performance management.
- Regularly evaluate and report on the Directorate’s performance against established objectives.
What You’ll Need
- An appropriate NQF 7 or higher qualification recognized by SAQA.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in middle or senior management.
- Extensive knowledge of social development policies and management principles.
- Strong competencies in strategic capability, people management, program management, and financial oversight.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
