What You’ll Do

  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies to meet user requirements.
  • Administer the flow of orders and ensure timely invoicing of all purchases.
  • Monitor service level agreements to ensure compliance and quality assurance.
  • Process requisitions and manage stock control effectively.
  • Coordinate the disposal of damaged stock and maintain accurate records of inventory.
  • Conduct stock-taking and ensure alignment of physical stock with LOGIS.
  • Prepare purchase requests based on identified needs and maintain customer care standards.

What You’ll Need

  • An appropriate qualification at NQF level 6 or equivalent in Financial Management, Supply Chain Management, or Procurement Management as recognized by SAQA.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in a purchasing or administrative role.
  • A valid motor vehicle driver’s license (with exceptions for persons with disabilities).
  • Strong knowledge of Public Service Regulations and the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict management skills.
  • Proficient in report writing and analytical thinking.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
