What You’ll Do
- Register suppliers on the Logistical Information System (Logis) or similar platforms.
- Request and receive quotations for procurement purposes.
- Place orders for required goods and services efficiently.
- Identify and manage redundant, non-serviceable, and obsolete equipment for disposal.
- Verify the asset register to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Compile and maintain detailed records related to procurement activities.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 qualification (Senior Certificate or equivalent).
- Knowledge of supply chain duties and practices.
- Proficiency in data capture and statistics collection.
- Understanding of the legislative framework governing public service operations.
- Computer literacy in the MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
