What You’ll Do

  • Register suppliers on the Logistical Information System (Logis) or similar platforms.
  • Request and receive quotations for procurement purposes.
  • Place orders for required goods and services efficiently.
  • Identify and manage redundant, non-serviceable, and obsolete equipment for disposal.
  • Verify the asset register to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Compile and maintain detailed records related to procurement activities.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12 qualification (Senior Certificate or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of supply chain duties and practices.
  • Proficiency in data capture and statistics collection.
  • Understanding of the legislative framework governing public service operations.
  • Computer literacy in the MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
