About the Role
The Department of Defence is seeking a dedicated Provisioning Administration Clerk to join their team at the SAS Wingfield, located at the Wingfield Military Base in Goodwood. What You’ll Do
- Conduct victual accounting administration to support military logistics
- Manage Distribution Account (DAC) muster and transfers efficiently
- Handle petty cash purchases and services as needed
- Participate in stocktaking of main ledgers to ensure accurate inventory records
- Report any loss or damage to maintain accountability and integrity
What You’ll Need
- Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent qualification
- No prior experience required; however, exposure to warehousing or administration is an advantage
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Completion of an Inventory Management System course (e.g., OSIS) is advantageous
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Excellent organisational, interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
