What You’ll Do
- Lead the planning, monitoring, and implementation of projects within the Jobs Fund.
- Manage project deliverables, financials, and stakeholder relationships to ensure successful outcomes.
- Conduct risk management and develop mitigation strategies to overcome potential project obstacles.
- Prepare and present project status reports, ensuring compliance with governance requirements.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including government departments and private investors, to facilitate project success.
- Oversee financial management processes, including data analysis, forecasting, and budget monitoring.
- Support the development of evidence-based insights to enhance project performance and learning.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree or advanced diploma in Development Finance, Economics, Business Management, or Project Management (NQF 7); a postgraduate qualification (NQF 8) is advantageous.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in project or programme management, with at least 2 years in a management-level role.
- Strong understanding of project management principles and financial analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under pressure.
- Knowledge of government policies and regulations related to public financial management.
