What You’ll Do
- Drive the implementation of governance frameworks and systems at the college.
- Foster an effective management team to execute the college’s strategic plan.
- Serve as the accounting officer, overseeing financial and supply chain management.
- Develop and monitor human resource management and stakeholder engagement systems.
- Create a comprehensive information management platform for decision-making.
- Lead the development of responsive vocational curricula and monitor quality assurance.
- Establish partnerships and linkages for student placements and workplace learning.
- Manage a student support framework to ensure holistic academic and social assistance.
- Oversee the college’s infrastructure and estate management systems.
- Facilitate student progression and articulation opportunities.
What You’ll Need
- A Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma (NQF Level 7) in Education, Public Administration, or Business Administration.
- A relevant postgraduate qualification in Post Schooling Education and Training is advantageous.
- At least eight years of experience in the Post School Education and Training sector, with five years in a middle or senior management role.
- Successful completion of the Nyukela Public Service SMS Pre-entry Programme endorsed by NSG.
- Proven management skills and experience in strategic and financial planning.
- Exceptional computer literacy, including advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong report writing and presentation abilities.
- Knowledge of the public TVET college sector and its regulatory framework.
- Strategic capability, leadership, and excellent stakeholder management skills.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.
