What You’ll Do

• Develop and implement a recapitalization and modernization project for Indlela, ensuring it aligns with national standards.
• Create and maintain policies and procedures that facilitate accreditation by the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards for quality, occupational health and safety, and environmental control.
• Oversee continuous professional development of staff to enhance training and assessment quality.
• Collaborate with public TVET colleges to support the national TVET system.
• Manage senior-level collaboration with centralized services at DHET in Pretoria to ensure streamlined operations.

What You’ll Need

• A relevant Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced National Diploma (NQF level 7) in Management or an Engineering-related field.
• Artisan trade qualification and experience as an artisan assessor, trainer, or moderator is advantageous.
• A minimum of five to ten years’ experience in the skills development sector, with at least five years in middle or senior management roles.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation including the Skills Development Act and Public Finance Management Act.
• Excellent computer skills, with the ability to develop basic online applications.
• A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
• Successful completion of the Nyukela Public Service SMS Pre-entry Program as endorsed by NSG.
