What You’ll Do

• Manage patient care effectively, ensuring a focus on patient needs and concerns.
• Promote and advocate for patients’ rights and well-being.
• Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines, protocols, and national health priorities.
• Maintain accurate patient records adhering to legal standards.
• Supervise nursing staff and support their professional development.
• Foster good relationships among staff and patients to enhance healthcare delivery.
• Participate in hospital programs such as Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) and Quality Assurance.
• Create and maintain a safe, therapeutic, and hygienic environment for all stakeholders.

What You’ll Need

• For Grade 1: A minimum of 4 years of nursing experience post-registration with SANC in General Nursing.
• For Grade 2: A minimum of 14 years of nursing experience post-registration with SANC, including 10 years in a specialty after obtaining a relevant post-basic qualification.
• Registration as a Professional Nurse with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
