What You’ll Do

• Develop and facilitate training and orientation programs for nursing staff.
• Assess and evaluate the competencies and skills of nursing personnel.
• Assist in the effective management of resources within the nurse training department.
• Ensure appropriate placement and support for nursing personnel.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance nursing services and patient care.

What You’ll Need

• A Basic R425 qualification or equivalent, allowing registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse.
• Registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse.
• For Grade 2: A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in nursing post-registration.
• For Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years of relevant experience in nursing post-registration.
• Willingness to work outside of normal hours and attend workshops or courses.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to health care in South Africa.
• Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
