What You’ll Need

  • Basic R425 qualification (diploma/degree in nursing) or equivalent that allows for registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
  • Registration with the SANC as a Professional Nurse.
  • For Grade 2, a minimum of 10 years’ experience in nursing is required; for Grade 3, a minimum of 20 years is necessary.
  • Willingness to perform shift work, including nights and weekends.
  • Strong interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Competency in computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Mental Health Care Act and Nursing Act.
