What You’ll Do
- Provide direction and supervision to ensure the effective implementation of nursing care.
- Maintain ethical standards and comply with legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Build and maintain constructive relationships with all stakeholders in the Primary Health Care team.
- Use resources efficiently, including human, material, and physical assets.
- Participate in training programs and engage in research activities.
- Uphold workplace discipline among subordinates.
What You’ll Need
- Basic R425 qualification (diploma/degree in nursing) or equivalent qualification that allows registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse.
- Registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse.
- Relevant nursing experience: Grade 2 requires a minimum of 10 years, and Grade 3 requires a minimum of 20 years post-registration experience.
- Valid driver’s license (Code B/EB) and willingness to assist at other facilities within the Substructure.
- Flexibility to work shifts, night shifts, and overtime as needed.
- Strong knowledge of nursing care processes, problem-solving skills, and good communication abilities.
