What You’ll Do

  • Promote wellness and prevent injuries and diseases in the community.
  • Provide advisory services on Occupational Health and Safety matters.
  • Manage the Occupational Health Clinic’s systems and controls effectively.
  • Deliver high-quality occupational health clinical services.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy workplace environment.
  • Assist with medical emergencies when required.

What You’ll Need

  • Basic R425 qualification (diploma/degree in nursing) or equivalent, allowing registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
  • A post-basic nursing qualification in Occupational Health Nursing Science (R212) is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years for Grade 1 or 14 years for Grade 2 in nursing after registration as a Professional Nurse with the SANC in Occupational Health Nursing.
  • A valid (Code B/EB) driver’s licence.
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health and Risk Management and relevant legislation.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
