What You’ll Do

• Provide holistic and comprehensive nursing treatment and care to patients, particularly in maternity.
• Collaborate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure quality nursing care.
• Deliver clinical nursing practice in accordance with established standards and regulations.
• Uphold policies and procedures set by the relevant health governing bodies.
• Assist in managing human resources and financial aspects of nursing services.
• Promote quality nursing care and support continuous professional development.

What You’ll Need

• A Basic R425 qualification (diploma/degree in nursing) or equivalent that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
• A post-basic nursing qualification in Advanced Midwifery and Neonatal Nursing Science or a relevant postgraduate diploma.
• For Grade 1: Minimum of 4 years of nursing experience post-registration.
• For Grade 2: Minimum of 14 years of nursing experience post-registration, including at least 10 years in a relevant specialty.
• Strong interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills.
• Computer literacy (MS Office).
• Willingness to work shifts, including night duty and public holidays.
