What You’ll Do
- Assist in maintaining health, safety, and security protocols across UIF facilities.
- Monitor the implementation of SHE programme requirements.
- Verify Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) risk assessments.
- Participate in OHS investigations at UIF buildings to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to promote a safe working environment for all staff.
What You’ll Need
- An undergraduate qualification in Occupational Health and Safety, Health and Safety, Safety Management, Environmental Management, or Environmental Health at NQF Level 6, recognized by SAQA.
- No previous experience required, but candidates must not have participated in any internship programmes in either the public or private sectors.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, including Public Service Regulations, Occupational Health and Safety Act, and Basic Conditions of Employment Act.
- Strong skills in people management, problem-solving, communication, and report writing.
- Proficiency in computer literacy and analytical skills.
