What You’ll Do

What You’ll Need

• Basic R425 qualification or equivalent that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse.
• A post-basic nursing qualification in Advanced Psychiatric Nursing Science or a 4-year Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Registration with the SANC as a Professional Nurse.
• Grade 1: Minimum of 4 years of nursing experience post-registration; Grade 2: Minimum of 14 years with at least 10 years in Psychiatric Nursing.
• Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Strong communication skills and knowledge of relevant legislation and policies in the Department of Health.
• Leadership skills to guide the nursing team towards achieving strategic goals.
