What You’ll Do

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care in accordance with established healthcare standards and protocols.
  • Engage with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and support.
  • Implement the National Core Standards and Ideal Hospital Realization Framework within your unit.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to facilitate optimal patient care.
  • Organize and prioritize your workload and that of support staff to enhance nursing services.
  • Advocate for patients’ rights and ensure their needs are met with compassion and professionalism.
  • Manage allocated resources efficiently within your nursing unit.

What You’ll Need

  • A Senior Certificate / Grade 12 qualification.
  • A diploma or degree in General Nursing accredited by the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
  • Registration with the SANC as a Professional Nurse.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage time.
