What You’ll Do

  • Manage the enforcement of road traffic and public transport legislation.
  • Lead joint law enforcement activities and projects to ensure cooperative governance.
  • Provide direction and leadership to your team, fostering a culture of performance.
  • Oversee administrative activities related to traffic law enforcement.
  • Engage in vehicle inspections and manage the impoundment process.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant traffic regulations and legislation.

What You’ll Need

  • A National Senior Certificate or equivalent.
  • Basic Traffic Diploma and an appropriate undergraduate qualification (NQF 6) in Traffic Management or a related field.
  • 6 to 10 years of experience in traffic law enforcement.
  • A valid Driver’s Licence.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Senior Provincial Inspector.
  • No criminal record and must not be unfit to possess a firearm as per the Firearm Control Act.
